Chapter 1
Mini course
Prompt Engineering
The craft of writing prompts that get useful work out of a language model.
A course for anyone who writes prompts — students, marketers, analysts, product managers, and engineers. Language-model agnostic; every example runs anywhere. Five chapters on how to frame intent, structure a prompt, get reliable output, apply the common patterns, and turn a one-off prompt into something you can reuse and share. Deliberately does not cover model internals (that lives in the Generative AI track) or API/SDK code (that lives in Building with Language Models) — this is about the craft of the prompt itself.
